This Privacy Policy describes how the Ameer Barber mobile application
(“App”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you book appointments
and use related features.
Information we collect
- Account & booking data: name, mobile phone number, and appointment details you provide when booking or registering.
- Authentication: identifiers managed through Firebase Authentication (e.g. phone verification).
- App data: booking history, preferences, and profile photo if you choose to upload one.
- Device & technical data: push notification tokens, device type, and basic diagnostics needed to run the App and send booking reminders.
How we use information
- Create and manage your bookings and account.
- Send appointment confirmations and reminders (including push notifications, where enabled).
- Provide barber/admin features for authorized staff.
- Improve reliability and security of the App.
How we store and share data
Data is stored using Google Firebase (Firestore, Authentication, Cloud Storage, and related services)
on secure infrastructure. We do not sell your personal information. We may share data only:
- With service providers that help operate the App (e.g. Firebase/Google Cloud).
- When required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
Retention
We keep booking and account information as long as needed to provide the service and comply with legal obligations.
You may request deletion of your account data by contacting us (see below).
Your choices
- You can update profile information in the App settings.
- You can disable push notifications in your device settings.
- You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data by contacting us.
Children
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Security
We use industry-standard measures (encrypted connections, Firebase security rules, and access controls).
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
